K- Well, I certainly don't think so (laughs). I thought it was a compliment. N- Most of your stories are set in the leather dyke community. In the Alison Kaine books, you show how leather dykes are often vilified and scorned by many lesbian groups. It seems that there is a lot of misunderstanding about leather dykes and the fantasy play of B/D. Could you tell us what the real code of conduct is for leather dykes and those who practice B/D? K- I've met some really wonderful women in the leather scene who have a really strong code of ethics and are really careful about play. I know no one who is more careful about safer sex than women in the leather scene but unfortunately, it runs the gamut. It's like everybody else. So, you get your crazies too (laughs).
