"Family" Feuds
- By Stacy Bias  What I fear is that everyone will find out that lesbian relationships can be just as fragile, shallow, dysfunctional and short-lived as the all of others. Well, we're all human. We already know that. It's not better to be queer... it's essentially the same. Just harder. And as for my fears about what the straight community will do with this... My friend so eloquently alleviated my fear that I will just pass along her words.
"The straight community can think whatever they want about us because they won't f*cking vote to support us. And that is all that really matters." We've lost Ellen and Anne. We've lost Melissa and Julie. But they surpassed the first hurdles. Half of recognizing that homosexuality is normal is being seen as... human. And what is more human than a broken heart?
