Am I Bi? Well, I think I'm bi. I just wish I would know for sure. Well, I like guys a lot! But I'm starting to like girls. I would never marry or date a girl, I just have lusting dreams about them. Am I bi? Please help! - Rachel The Answer

While most sexologists agree that it is to some degree fixed, they also agree that it is to some degree mutable, or changeable. But there certainly are ways of getting a better feel for what sexual orientation we are, and what sexual identity fits us best. I like a tool like the Kinsey Scale when people first start asking themselves questions about their orientation. The Kinsey Scale doesn't divide everyone into three groups: bisexual, heterosexual, or homosexual. What it does is acknowledge what our orientation and preferences are within a wider range of seven groups, as follows: 0- Exclusively heterosexual
1- Predominately heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual
2- Predominately heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual
3- Equally heterosexual and homosexual
4- Predominately homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual
5- Predominately homosexual, only incidentally heterosexual
6- Exclusively homosexual
